Lovely peaceful place to rest your head

by admin | April 16th, 2010

Mr Riley was very welcoming, explained the check out procedure as we could only stay one night (unfortunately) and recommend some places we could go that evening for a quick drink. Getting Settled into our beautiful room was quick and easy, hubby hoped straight into the power shower while i flung open the sash windows to look out over the beautiful old city.

The rooms are finished to a high degree but it still feels personal and homely, bed was the kind that you sink into and never want to get out of.

The next morning we DID have to get out but it was well worth it to tuck in to the delicious breakfast. I liked the serve your self tea coffee and juice, having a nice big pot is a great way to start then followed but some hot toast with lovely jams. I couldn’t manage the full english but the bacon on toast was divine. Hubby loved it and had everything on offer, the plate was scraped clear so that is defiantly a positive sign.

Then sadly it was time to be off, but when we travel through wiltshire again i definitely WILL be back!

Highly reccommended for anyone looking for a goodnight sleep and a great feed in the morning!
